The outline: Retro fish? There are alot of retro fish outlines today, this is the variation that Makani settled with after months of kicking around different fish shape ideas; kind of a hybrid Retro fish/Bullet.

The Rocker: Low nose rocker, low entry to low/straightend tail rocker.

The Bottom: Light Single to light vee off the tail.

The Tail: Swallow.

The Fin setup: This board works killer with FCS MR twins on the sides and a
small center fin (G1000). Can also be ordered as a twin fin with glass on retro wood keel fins.

Surf size range (Hawaiian): 1 to 4 ft.

Size recommendations: 5'0" to 6'6" should be ordered 4 to 8 inches shorter, 1 to 2 inches wider and 1/4 to 1/2 inch thicker than your normal shortboard.

Shapers comments: This board paddles fast, and rides faster. It's loose, turns smooth, carves like a normal shortboard and flies through the flat spots. A freak of a small wave board. A must have alternative for micro to small days.
